Excellent coffee and sweet treats (carrot cake pictured), beyond excellent service and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owner is passionate about what they do and goes out of his way for his customers. Probably my favourite cafe in Helsinki!

If there would be six stars to give, I would give all of them. Everything I’ve ever eaten at Päijänne, has been amazing. Everything is self made and almost everything is vegan and gluten free. This is our favorite cafe in Helsinki and for a good reason. Even our dog loves the place.

Twelve out of ten! Coffee’s amazing, quiche and seasonal berry pie are so good. The owner is super friendly with amazing music taste! Hands down my fav spot in hel! Would def come again for my next visit:))

Very nice and cozy cafe, stylishly furnished with beautiful ambience. You feel directly very comfortable and come to enjoy great coffee and delicious homemade cake. The barista is very friendly and pleasant. We would love to come again.

Easily one of the best cafes around the Vallila/Hermanni/Sörnäinen area. Everything on offer - coffee, sweet and savoury edibles - are excellent. Breakfast plate is simple but all the more delicious. On top of all that, the barista is just lovely, and the cafe is slightly less expensive than other similar places near the area. The only downside is that this is a one man operation which means that waiting times can be a bit long, but it is easily worth it.

coffee here pretty good. walking in such a cozy cafe makes u feel so good in winter time. Barista is very friendly. Sitting here without doing anything, just feel chill and Relax.

Fell in love with this place! The owner is very kind and obviously loves what he does. His desserts were delicious! I had the carrot cake and my friend had the cheesecake. I will definitely be back during this trip or the next.
